Thrush Forest Rock (Monticola sharpei) male – endemic – Madagascar
Full SizeNote this species is in the Muscicapidae family under Chats rather than Thrushes. The Forest Rock Thrush differs from the Littoral Rock Thrush by having darker grey (blueish) upper parts and darker orange underparts. The Forrest Rock Thrush is found in the east whereas the Littoral that is only recorded around the south west coastal tip of Madagascar.
