The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds establish in 1904 in UK has designated Rathlin Sanctuary  as an area of great importance.  The mountain cliff faces are stunning and protected from the environment nevertheless the birds of all types get purchase on the narrowest ledges.  It was a privilege to visit the site.  Photos cannot describe the area enough.

It is also noted that Rathlin Island  has one of the worlds lowest light houses near sea level so is visible below any fog.
