Nightjar Fiery-necked (Caprimulgus pectoralis) Southern Province, Zambia

Graham Pringle and I did our own night drive and after a few flushes we were able to spot the Nightjars sitting on the road looking like small mounds.  I have an amazing torch that when kept partially on the bird we were able to get quite close to capture this and following images.  We were quite pleased we managed to do this by ourselves.
