From 28th September to 14th October, we cruised around the coast of West Africa visiting all but Guinea. One of two days were spend touring the respective countries but unfortunately the time of the day and restrictions of access and logistics prevented much dedicated birding. Nevertheless what little I was able to photograph both on land at sea are added here.  Most species are common across Africa.

During 2014 we had undertaken a dedicated birding trip around Gambia, so what was seen in 2025 is additional.
