Korhaan Karoo (Eupodotis vigorsii) male & female landing endemic – Cape North South Africa
Full SizeThis pair of Karoo Korhaan’s were walking along the highway and often just scurry away but these flew off, I just managed to get them landing to see the wing pattern. The foliage is typical of the arid Namaqualand and is fantastic camouflage for the Korhaan.
