Hoopoe Eurasian (Upupa epops) – India

Driving through the Kutch salt pan as far as the eye could see, with only a few ‘mile stones’ for directions, this Hoopoe was taking refuse from the fierce sun. Another Hoopoe to add to my collection photographed at various countries! I have photograped all three Hoopoes:  African, Eurasian and Madagascar.  The Eurasian is noticeably different as it is paler than the other two.
