Hoopoe African (Upupa africana) bead and wire – Gauteng South Africa

The brilliant street artists, mainly from Zimbabwe, make every imaginable items from wire with coloured beads:  animals, flowers, Spitfires, Tiger Moths, Proteas etc and a variety of birds.  Since the African Hoopoe (my favourite bird) features as this  web site’s Logo, I could not resist illustrating this Hoopoe in bead and wire that is owned by our dear friends Joyce & Ted Martin in Johannesburg.
