Gannet Northern (Morus bassanus) 3rd winter – Troup Head Reserve Aberdeenshire Scotland

Here the Gannet is maturing where the wing feathers are darker but not defined at the ends.

The Austrailan Gannet (Morris serrator) has a shorter gular stripe than the Cape Gannet (Morris capensis).  The Northern Gannet that has no gular stripe.
