Fulmar Northern (Fulmarus glacialis) light phase – Paseley Bay, Wrottesley Inlet, Canada

The Fulmar is a tubednosed marine bird.  It clears the salt through its specialised salt glands above their eyes that filter salt from their bloodstream that accumulates from a high-salt diet.  It is often seen with a drip of water below its bill as illustrated in this image.
