Eagle Bald (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) imm taking off – Dutch Harbour, Unalaska, Alaska, USA – Click for Notes

Watched by its parent, this immature Bald Eagle was actually feeding.  It was on a cliff face opposite our ship just before we sailed so rather a distant image. As it took off I noticed it had a fish in its talons.
