Dove Mourning Collared (Streptopelia decipiens) – Kruger NP South Africa
Full SizeKruger19 International Challenge
The Mourning Collared Dove can be confused with the Ring Necked Dove and is easily overlooked. It is common in the attitudes between Zambia and Zimbabwe and down the western side near Mozambique to Mpumalanga Province of South Africa
There is a Mourning Dove (Zenaida macroura) in Central America, I have photographed this in Mexico and Cuba.
