Canopy Walk, Kakum Nat. Park, Central Region, Ghana – Click for notes

To get to the Central region was about a two hour bus ride from the Port.  The birding Canopy Walk at the Kakum National Park of Ghana should have been the birding highlight but due to the administration and immigration details and times to suit all the ships passengers, it was mid day by the time we climbed the steep hill to arrive at the Canopy Walk. Sadly not one bird was hear or seen from it. We needed to be there at 06:00.  There were a few Sunbirds around the base camp.
