I use an App, MotionX GPS that I kept running for all our journey around Southern Morocco starting from Marrakech going east as close as 13km (8 miles) of the Algerian border and ending up at Agadir.  We travelled 2050km (1273 miles) over the Atlas Mountains and through desert.

My live version of MotionX has more detail, ‘Way Points’ recoding all the sites we visited,  This image is just a screen shot indicative of the area covered over 10 days.
