Full Size

We walked along a wadi with high rocky banks.  A tell tale white stain revealed in a dark cave this Pharaoh Eagle Owl.  It was a challenging photo but so exciting to view this elusive species that spends the daylight hours in rocks and crevices. The Pharaoh eagle-owl is native to much of northern Africa and the Arabian peninsula.
