Gannet Northern (Morus bassanus) adult snagged with rope – Troup Head Reserve Aberdeenshire Scotland

Troup Head is an RSPB Reserve specifically a large Gannet Colony.

This Gannet has polypropylene fishing rope around one of his feet.  It illustrates one of the hazards birds are exposed to.
