Full SizeTo capture an image of a nightjar can be done if stunned by torchlight or if its day sleeping area is known (usually by locals) but to get a photo of it in flight at night is almost impossible. This feeling image illustrates the point but you can see it is a Pennant-Winged Nightjar.
