Weaver Sociable (Philetairus socius) tree nest – endemic – Namibia

The Sociable Weaver is very sociable.  A flock of hundreds will build a huge nest, some 3 to 4m diameter and almost as high in trees and power line poles etc.  They are more like multiple apartments!  See associated pictures.
