Toucanet Emerald (aulacorhynchus prasinus) endemic nominate race – Mexico

A fabulous sighting in the forrest glades of El Triunfo mountains south west of Mexico.  A rare shaft of sunlight spotted on this colourful bird.  Note the amethyst tip to the tail, certainly a jewel of the forrest.
