Spurfowl Sri Lanka (Galloperdix bicalcarata) endemic male – Sri Lanka
Full SizeWe were up at 04:30 to drive up 300m altitude on a rocky muddy road to Ketalapathala House where at the rear kitchen window this very secretive spurfowl made a brief appearance in very poor light but my new Nikon D850 was up to the task. Also spotted a Pygmy Mouse Deer that was about the size of a chicken, a very lucky sighting.
