Roller Racket-Tailed (Coracias spatulatus) – Luangwa Valley Zambia
Full SizeThe Racket-Tailed Roller is uncommon and unobtrusive unlike most other Rollers that like an open perch and view, the Racket-Tailed perches just below the canopy. This picture is illustrative of old photo technology, inadequate lens and copied from a slide that has degradated over the past 39 years! I was lucky so see a pair of Racket-Tailed Rollers in April 2015 in the Kafue National Park.
