Quetzal Resplendent (pharomachrus mocinno) male near endemic – Mexico

The Mexican Resplendent Quetzal has longer tail streamers than the Costa Rica species.  This photo was taken at over 500 metres in early morning light and mist at around 2000m so is remarkable that the camera was able to resolve it.
