Petrel Spectacled (Procellaria conspicillata) in flight – South Cape Point South Africa

The Spectacled Petrel is a rare oceanic bird nesting only on the high western plateau of the inaccessible island of Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic. It is one of the largest petrels that nests in burrows.

Unfortunately I was unable to get a more focused picture of this briefly spotted Spectacled Petrel.
