Parrot Seychelles Black (Coracopsis barklyi) endemic – Seychelles

The Seychelles Black Parrot is only found on the island of Praslin and is the National Bird of Seychelles.  Actually it is not ‘black but a dark grey-brown.  This particular bird seems to be a young specimen.
