Sandgrouse Pallas’s (Syrrhaptes paradoxus) female in flight – Taukum Desert, Kazakhstan

Each day at sun rise and sunset we sat in the desert some 200m away as the Sandgrouse came in to drink from a small stream created by a nearby farm’s overflow pipe.
