Kingfisher Woodland (Halcyon fuscopileus) – Uganda

There are three races of Woodland Kingfishers: the halcyon fuscopileus is more difficult to separate from the halcyon senegalensis but both have a rounded black patch around the eye unlike the stripe on the halcyon cyanoleuca. The halcyon fuscopileus has a lighter breast.
