Caracara Chimango (Milvago chimango) – Easter Island (Rapa Nui)

It was our first day in Easter Island and at sea to the Motu Nui Islet.  I was very surprised to spot this Caracara Chimango at the peak of the rock at sea.  Perhaps it was looking for marine bird chicks?
