Bunting Snow (Plectrophenax nivalis) pullus fed by male – summer – Arctic, Norway

Note the ‘greens’ in the bill of the male.  The Bunting is a seed eater but in the Arctic it appears to eat what is available during the short summer period.  The pullus is named before fledging but this one looks very close.
