Brilliant Green-Crowned (Heliodoxa jacula) juvenile – Costa Rica

The juvenile has pale rufous malars and chin that is often confused with the Fiery-Throated Hummingbird.  The Green Crowned Brilliant is common at 1,800m altitude.
