Asity Yellow-Bellied Sunbird- (Neodrepanis hypoxantha) male – endemic – Madagascar

I consider capturing this rare image a considerable achievement as Asity spends much of its time flitting about the rainforest canopy; thus very difficult to get a diagnostic image.  The blue caruncles (small, fleshy excrescence).  against the yellow breast make a stunning site.
